Thank You! You are much better at putting this stuff into words than I am! I have a few ideas on how Danny has affected some of the ghosts around him and how Danny feels about everything but it is late here and I am tired so goodnight uwu

Yes! And since Danny identifies with being a ghost more, if they do attack Amity Park, he probably aids them. Not in a destructive or malicious way, more like.... lets scare the crap out of them, cause a little damage, and then leave sort of way. He doesn’t have the obsessive need to ‘protect’ because there is nothing to protect since he feels he’s one of them now. They’re basically his family. If anything, he’s going to defend them - and that is just trouble waiting to happen.

Vlad probably tries to make Danny avoid the human realm outside of the estate or Danny will get upset with all the ghost-hunters and steal their stuff.

A little bit more on the other side of the portal AU, but could you imagine how much different Vlad would be if he suddenly had this other halfa pop up and start asking him for help/knowledge? finally having a son/student to care for and mentor? i just can't stop thinking about possible character development for him and Danny. I'm not a writer but I've already got tons of ideas for this I don't know what to do with

I feel you so much. I actually am tempted to write this now because man, I have so many ideas.

But honestly, Vlad’s character is so interesting because he is very acceptable to change when its brought in the form of love/compassion. Not only would he not be as bitter, with his focus elsewhere, but he would finally have something true to focus on. No longer would he need violence or total domination to fill the gaps. No longer would he feel the need to chase after Maddie (and basically can’t because he has her son). I do think he still has a hunger for power, but having Danny around would help keep him in check. His actions could be questionable at times, but no longer malicious because there is no need. I could even see him becoming more accustom to being in the ghost zone as well, since Danny made a life there. Without the desperation for some sort of acceptance, Vlad could keep a firm grip on personal goals and how to go about things while giving Danny the world. Vlad, even in the show, was super responsive to affection and love and it was Danny - and their fighting - that really was pushing Vlad over the edge.

I do think Vlad still holds some deep-seeded issues. However, without the emotionally exhausting battles with Danny, crippling love/obsession with Maddie, suffocating hate for Jack, and the undeniable need to fill a void… I really think it could all be managed to some degree… especially if he’s afraid of disappointing or failing Danny; knowing Danny has a good heart.

And whenever Vlad starts to get out of line Danny can just be like, “dude you need to find your chill”

What do you think would have happened if Danny had fallen into the other side of the portal during the accident? like.. would he stay in ghost form and think he was dead or?

This is such a good question, omg.

Thing is, if Danny didn’t come out of the portal, Sam and Tucker would have been forced to go get help - probably from the Fentons themselves. I imagine they would have shut down the portal and I really don’t believe they would start it back up either - seeing what it did to their son (total obliteration since there was nothing left of Danny in the portal)

Which means, Danny has no way to access the human realm.

There still leaves Vlad though, however, Danny is not aware of his existence or the fact that he, too, has a portal.

I think for a while Danny would be convinced he’s dead. I like the idea that, in the ghost zone, he is able to hold his ghost form even upon passing out; the form you keep as default depends on the realm you’re in (thus why in the human world he reverts human - that’s his default)

He’s probably scared and confused, but stumbles across some ghosts willing to aid him and explain the ghostzone and all it’s functions. 

And that leads to Danny becoming accustom to ghost living, identifying as a ghost, befriending and creating a life amongst them.

Then one day, his transformation is triggered and he reverts back to being human. Safe to say everyone is shocked and confused, including Danny himself. Someone, maybe even Skulker, brings up that he’s seen his kind before… in Plasmius. Desperate for answers, Danny willingly goes to seek out Vlad. 

With no questionable circumstances, and without knowledge of Vlad’s history with his parents, they actually get a long very well - especially because Danny associates with ghosts more than humans and has formed strong bonds with various ghosts and has an attachment to the ghostzone as a whole.

Presumably, a lot of time has passed, and Danny knows everyone believes he’s been dead for quite some time - so he’s in no hurry to return to his human-home. It’d probably scare the shit out of his friends and family, not to mention his parents would probably tear him apart - believing him to be a ghost and only a ghost. Though, he probably returns to Sam and Tucker at some point, but they’re pretty freaked even after he explains the concept behind being half-ghost. But since they haven’t been exposed to it; it’s a bit much, and they question the validity.

Vlad, I’m sure, learns that Danny is Jack and Maddie’s son, and does everything in his power to make sure Danny doesn’t find out about his negative feelings towards Jack. Especially now that Vlad doesn’t really care, since he has his son. He has a child, a child he can relate to and identify with.

Danny is still a good boy and he probably tries not to cause harm or do wrong, despite Plasmius’s influence - however this still probably spells a bit of trouble for both the human world and parts of the ghostzone. Danny is Vlad’s little passively-evil and/or questionably-good apprentice/child that usually causes more mischief than actual harm, but man you don’t want to mess with him because he’s pretty damn powerful and Plasmius is going to see to it that they’re both feared and respected (to some degree)

Man, I actually now have so many ideas about this concept I could probably keep going.
