It's fine that you ended the Andy story the way it was. It was toxic and she grew up and he's a dick and we don't need to save every dick.

Hi! I love ICBYS and was wondering if you would ever write for Andy again? Not the same storyline of course! I was happy and sad about the ending because while we all love Andy, the character he was portraying in your story wasn’t the same Andy we all love. He was toxic, and it made for a great story! But the ending you wrote was necessary!
Maybe it could be like post Defending Jacob?
A Frank story would also be amazing to see from you!
I appreciate that! I’ve written for Andy before, I have a separate story up with him called Where You Want My Lipstick that does take place after the events of Defending Jacob. I will say though, honestly, the response that I have gotten to this story ending and the repeated questioning about the story’s so-called ‘ambiguous ending’ is souring me for writing for Andy again. I’m not sure if I’d venture into writing for Frank or other Chris Evans characters.
I promise I’m not the same anon harassing you about ICBYS
While I loved that story and hoped that it would have ended differently for them, that maybe he wasn’t so much of a dick and would’ve left Laurie, I also think it was toxic af.
I would however love to see more for Andy, a different storyline for sure! Or something for Steve!
Ooooh or maybe a Frank story at some point!
I hope people quit harassing you about ICBYS because at the end of the day...you’re the author, you write what comes to you.
Thank you for that wild ride!
Thank you! Honestly I knew that most people wouldn’t be happy with the way that the story ended, but ending it in another way would not have suited the narrative or Andy’s character, in my opinion I do eventually want to get back to Love Isn’t Always on Time, but I just... I’ve gotta rewatch those movies and I have not had the chance. Possibly Frank!! I love Gifted, I haven’t revisited that one for a while
i haven’t read ICBYS but the answer you gave to that other question about the reader and Andy’s relationship is so insightful and well thought out and it really shows how much thought and energy go into your stories
you’re so fucking talented and i love you
thankyooooooooouthankyouthankyouthankyou honestly when i posted that i felt like it looked like
so thank you 🥺🥰
So you ended I could be your sometimes? And on an ambiguous note then?
Nope, it ended with the relationship ending. It’s actually not ambiguous at all.
Re: ICBYS
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If you don’t write a sequel with a happy ending for Andy and the reader I will throw everything and sue you for emotional trauma 😭😭😭😭😭
The story ended where it ended. That's that on that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
....please tell me there’s a sequel to ICBYS
I’m begging you
