here are some of my "Ace's ice powers never fully left" headcanons with a visual aid (image description in alt text)

so besides these ones I drew, i like to think that he can't really shoot ice like he could, but he can cool things down. For instance, when at bars with the band, though he's not allowed to drink, he may hold their drinks for them so they don't get too warm. also, maybe when he left 2-D kept burning his tongue on his tea because he had gotten used to Ace cooling it down for him. Also, he's clingy, so if you fall asleep next to him he may hug you in his sleep. you will wake up with hypothermia. for this reason Snake stays way away from him

he also probably uses it for dumb things like "bet I can stick my hand in this toaster and not get hurt"

Im fixated on 2Dace so

Ace has super cold hands, an aggressive effect of his whole ice powers thing, so when he touches 2D, like putting his hands under his shirt or when they’re cuddling, it causes 2D to squirm like an idiot, and then he holds Aces hands to try and warm them up

YEAHHHHH i like to think sometimes when 2-D's asleep Ace puts his hands on his neck to wake him up

blah more ice ace headcanons

this boy is like an ice pack. at like, room temperature? he can cool stuff down, make little sculptures, frost things, stuff like that. if it's hot, he can only cool things down. if it's really cold, he can actually shoot ice. he's like an ice pack because the longer you put him in the freezer the easier it is to just clock someone with a block of ice

also, the colder he gets, the more the blue skin spreads over his body until he can warm up again

he is always cold. always. he terrifies the band because he can wear booty shorts in -20⁰ weather and 3 coats in 120⁰ and be absolutely fine either way

part of his clinginess is bc he's always freezing and is seeking warmth. so, always hugging someone

he has made ice sunglasses before. he could barely see out of them because yk ice. he wore them until they melted bc he was stubborn

sometimes when he spits it just freezes to his tongue

when someone else is in the shower, sometimes he'll run his hand under the showerhead to make it super cold. terrified of water but that's a sacrifice he's willing to make for a prank

don't make him cry when he's too cold or it freezes in his eye and that's not fun for anyone involved

sometimes as soon as liquid hits his skin it freezes

"No weapons allowed" "ok *freezes his hands so they're super hard and punches the opp*"

he does use it for super petty things. once he froze Murdocs engine and it broke

but he always gets a good deal on gasoline since it expands in the heat (he can just, make it not expand, pay less for gas)

when he was living with the band. puddles everywhere. he'd get up at like 3 am and go to the fridge but they keep the house super cold so it's just frost footprints and handprints all over the kitchen that melt by the morning

he has in fact done the lemon snowcone thing to 2-D

sometimes when he gels his hair his hands get frozen to his head
