My takes and opinion on gorillaz ships! TW: gr00ming, abuse, $uicid3!

First up, any Noodle relationship that includes, 2d, Russel, and Murdoc.

Said this a thousand times and I'll say it again, Noodle ships with her bandmates are extremely problematic. Keep in mind that her bandmates have known her as a child (7 yrs old) and watching Noodle grow up in the band over time is very weird and it's an actual problematic thing called gr00ming.

I could totally understand why people ship Noodle and Ace. Ace didn't meet Noodle as a child like the rest of the band did and I honestly don't see anything rlly wrong with the ship. I feel like it isn't that controversial. However i don't see them romantically together and more as a friend/bsf relationship instead.

Now with 2doc. This might get me a lot of hate, but I don't ship 2doc and I have a dislike on the ship. I totally get that 2doc shippers are talking about The Now Now, the interview where 2d said he sleeps with murdoc in the recent phase, etc, but that doesn't mean we totally abandon what Murdoc has done with 2d in phases 1-3. In phase 1, Murdoc tried to kill 2d by choking him, In phase 3, he tortured and abused 2d to the point where he wanted to kill himself, etc. Even though I have a general dislike towards the ship, I'm not gonna take my time to send a death threat to you just because you ship them.

Ships with Russel (2russ, Russdoc, and Russdel) are in my opinion not controversial at all. Russel did no harm or abuse to any of the band including Del, and he generally has a positive relationship with the band so I really don't see how someone can call these ships controversial.

And I'm not gonna mention the most problematic ship, Nudoc. This by far is the worst ship of mankind. First the age gap. I dont really care about ships that are 15+ but if a ship is has a 25+ YEAR AGE GAP LIKE NUDOC? yeah no that crosses so many lines. and also, Murdoc sees Noodle as his daughter!! when the FUCK has he ever talked about having romantic feelings for her?! And also he has known her since she was 7 so that's gr00ming! If you ship Nudoc, or any Noodle ship other than Nuace, then simply go ahead and fucking block me
