A short comic. Panel one, Battat walks away from his conspiracy board looking very tired, saying "That's it, I'm done. I'm going to bed." Panel two, he stops in his tracks, suddenly looking very distressed. Final panel, he turns around and walks back towards the board, saying "on second thought!" very nervously.

Two doodles of Battat gripping his head, then throwing his arms down, yelling "I'm losing my goddamn mind!" He's shaky.

Battat looks away thinking "I'm going to be Found Out." The words 'found out' are capitalized for emphasis.

Pluey (cat Mike, in costume) and Jongler (cowboy Mike, out of costume) lean against Battat, who is blushing heavily. The text "space filling polymike" is barely visible above them.

Battat sits on the floor, surrounded by piles of paper, with some papers and pens scattered on the floor.

Battat, in costume, thinks "Did I lock the door. I didn't lock the door. Oh god what if Tenna went into the room oh god he knows I'm going to lose my job this is a disaster".

The first three show it closed: it's bound in leather and has yellowed pages, and a dark red ribbon to be hung. The rest of the pictures show the inside; the writing becomes more and more panicked and frantic until it's entirely illegible. The second to last page, which contains the code, is legible but shaky, as if the writer was trying to keep it together for long enough to finish writing. /End ID]

My friend convinced me (read: vaguely suggested) to make D3r's book for this year's ornament so I did. I've never made a book before. This is the power of hyperfixiation.

There's golden paper at the start and finish and also the writing shines gold bc I went over it with a gel pen, but tumblr hates me so I can't show you the shinies 😔
