He was detained as he was finishing a landscaping service for a client in Park Ridge. My dad has been in the United States for over 28 years. He is one of the most hardworking people I know.
My dad was wrongfully detained, a man with no criminal record, and was just a father who came to the United States in 1997 to give me and my family a better life. He was the main provider of our family and worked every single day of his life with no rest. Even when he was in pain or sick, he worked. My dad never deserved to be taken away as he was nearing vacation, and all he wanted to do was spend time with his family for the holidays. He is loved by many people, and all we want is to bring him back home. He is currently back in Mexico and has plans to come back.
