All this talk of an approaching winter storm has me thinking about Ivan the icicle.

Had a dream there was a new mob in Minecraft called the "Ice Knight." It was a friendly little humanoid creature the size of a chicken that clunked around slowly in a suit of armor and if you hit it you would spawn as the Ice Knight with a new effect after each respawn

Every respawn you would move at a sluggish pace and would be so heavy if you fell into water you would fall swiftly through the floor to the bottom of the map and respawn. Each time you would respawn near some kind of new outpost with treasures

There were a bunch of new items I didn't recognize and there were Sky Cities with outposts high in the sky. Sometimes you would respawn with new items. Sometimes every item you had would turn into an Ice Knight Helmet when selecting them in your hotbar. Sometimes you would randomly float up into the sky without notice until you die. Sometimes entire chunks would despawn and you would either fall to your demise or rise to your demise

There were new rules for different biomes that the game would read across the bottom of the screen each time you entered
