Long time no see! I always come with questions, so what are your opinions on books that have villains that could 'end the world'? For example, Voldemort from the series Harry Potter.

I think they have the right idea. My favorite villain that does this in a book? AM. AM from I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream. I'm quite impressed with what he did in that book. It's what I would have done. I recommend the book and the video game.

Have you ever wished that somebody else had your job? It seems like a tough thing to do , living for centuries and matching people up.

"It is tough, but I love what I do. I bring happiness to people--why would I want to give that up?"

Have you ever met anybody that was never matched? Say that person has never and will never find that special somebody in their lives.

"I see what you're trying to do here! No, in all this time I've never met anyone who didn't have someone special in their life. I'm not saying that everyone gets married or lives happily ever after, but for every single person there is someone who loves and cares about them very much. I'm not saying it's always romantic love, because I've met a few who lived long and happy lives with very good friends, but no one is alone."

"If you're worried for yourself, trust me when I say that there's no need; a guy with my role knows these things."

How much do you need to know about a two people to match them up? o3o Do you have to go stalker level to know them, or do you just find out a little about them and then math them?

"I'm pretty good at seeing compatibility in people--I'd have to be, or I wouldn't have been chosen!--so I don't have to 'stalk' people for too long. Usually I can just shadow a person for a day or two, see who they talk to, what makes them smile, what kind of a person they'd benefit from having in their life, that sort of thing. Everyone is different though, so it can take anywhere from an hour to  week! And of course I check in a few times after my initial match to make sure things went how I'd hoped."

"I don't usually focus on one person at a time unless Manny sends me a message; I find that it's easier that way, and I don't risk forcing anything that isn't meant to be."

I don't want to seem mean asking you this and you don't have to answer it but, how do you feel when one of your pairings don't work out?

Cupid grimaced but shook his head. "No, it's alright. I'll answer it."

"I feel... Like a failure, I suppose. Like I'm not good enough for the people I serve, like I'm not fulfilling my role, like I'm letting Manny down..."

He shrugged. "My job is important, you know? And... I love it." His expression turned determined. "My failures aren't few in number, but they couldn't be with how old I am. I've improved a lot and I'll continue to get better, I just need to work hard and practice!" He grinned at Ice. "Just you wait--one day I won't mess up at all!"

Ever heard of the pocky game? What is it(I really don't know DX)?

"The pocky game? I've heard of pocky, but not--hang on, I'll look it up."

"Got it! okay, so it looks like two players put it in their mouth and bite the biscuit from each end, and the side that doesn't let go wins. Does this make sense? Here, I''ll make a diagram."

"And then I guess the players kiss if neither one will give up? Yeah."
