So this was Haven Academy of Mistral? The sight itself was honestly breathtaking.. The exceptional use of the natural formations of the land around them to create such architecture. Though, from what she gathered from others, it certainly wasn’t the kindest place, especially in certain areas.
Wandering the rather empty exterior of the academy, she could only wander what happened to cause it to feel so....lifeless...

Recalling the events of some time ago; to her, it certainly felt like a short while ago when Vale was brought to a screeching halt as the CCT fell along with the Academy. A sigh as a cold hand glided alongside the pillars.....
Perhaps there were still some around? A ridiculous thought, but if there were, maybe she’d be able to find out more of what happened...

A start, sure; Out of nowhere, it could be said, but given the circumstances, there weren’t many others around who would just converse like any normal person. That in mind, she had to pull her own weight, and that involved doing something as relatively simple as this, but perhaps it was something about the other that brought her to ask.
Given the current circumstance of Atlas and Mantle, especially with Atlas forces rummaging about and the populous in an uneasy and emotionally tense state, they seemed like one of the small handful that still had their head on their shoulders at least...
Maybe she’d get a good idea of how to get out and find somewhere else to stay until it blows over..

So this was the place that was recommended to her in a short notice? The shelves were stocked, but the place itself seemed so....empty.... Even then, there were other places back in Atlas that were far worse than this, so she wouldn’t complain. Looking up and down the aisles to see if there was anyone around before making her way up to the front counter.
