This #photo was taken two years ago. It’s an old, #abandoned herring factory near Arnes in the West Fjords. There were rumours that the building was to be refurbished as a hotel. Other rumours said this was to become a cultural centre. Nobody knows. I would like to know. That is why as part of my photo project "#Tourismus – Islands Fluch oder Segen? / #Tourism - Iceland's curse or a new blessing?“ I would like to re-visit this place and find out which, if any, rumours are true and what’s happened to the factory.
