So, IDK if y’all know what’s going on in the midwest right now, but there’s currently ice on EVERYTHING and it’s still falling out of the sky.

And in the midst of this storm (that’s been happening for over 12 hours now), I suddenly hear the sound of spinning tires and scraping metal that signifies someone is trying to navigate the apartment parking lot.

Huzzah for actual productiveness while being iced in a second day. I worked on my Jupiter Ascending review for CDM and have it scheduled to publish tomorrow. Now....I'm not sure what to do. I have some fanfics half started...maybe I should take a nap.

We went for short walk this morning to survey how much ice had melted. Everything but the bridge by us is pretty much in the clear now. But, we are getting hit tonight with 2-4 inches of snow. That's corg level snow in Texas! I'm excited. Emma.. Well Emma wants to know what I'm still doing at home and why I'm always on the computer being boring (read: working). She sits on her pillow and gives me "woe is me" look. I feel like I'm messing up her napping schedule somehow. Maybe a trip to Petco will perk her up.
