Ice Princess from Batman Returns (1992) played by Cristi Conaway, who went on to play Claire Hemmings, the second lead on the 1997 Sci-Fi TimeCop series.    Writer Daniel Waters did the Ice Princess dirty. For starters, she doesn’t have a name. Then he wrote her as being confused by the cause and effect of turning on a light. And then lastly, after being betrayed by Catwoman, Batman watches without action as she falls to her death. This isn’t the Batman or Catwoman we see 6 months later in The Batman Animated Series. There’s just no fucking way that Catwoman would evertake an active role in a woman’s death as a meaningless pawn in the fight between two men. And Batman is always using his grappling gun to swing and save lives. But this is years before Hollywood embraced Hong Kong’s wire work. And that fucking armored Batsuit is not bendable in a swinging through the air kind of way. David Lee Roth swung sideways in a music video some years before, but not wearing armor. If I remember correctly, Batman only moves directly up and down in this series of Batman movies. But also Daniel Waters sucks. His credits are Heathers 1989, The Adventures of Ford Fairlane 1990, Hudson Hawk 1991, Batman Returns 1992, Demolition Man 1993. People may like or love any of these movies, but it is in spite of the writing, not because of it.    The Ice Princess was written as dumb so the audience wouldn’t feel bad about Batman making no effort to save her life.
