Honestly, I didn't do much yet. I just went with what I thought looked best with the default stuff until I sit down to make him more Stan-like later. (To be honest, the face paint mechanic kind of intimidates me lol)

Yeah that’s fair. Honestly I prefer the individuality designs as well for tmnt. I guess I’m just perpetually hopeful that comics cut corners for a good reason 🥲 I don’t know why I keep it up I keep getting disappointed lol

I can kind of forgive cut corners at this point since as I said, Mutant Rangers and Ranger X would be pretty complicated figures to make. So the Dimension X Turtles just got the short end of the stick. It's just a shame that they're a downgrade to the original Turtle Rangers and the comics in general feel like they've been skewing towards more and more toyetic ways of thinking lately

I guess for tmnt’s suits they went Mirage over power rangers design wise (emphasizing their similarities to the point where being the team supersedes individuality) but you’re right for power rangers it doesn’t make a lot of sense. Unless the story line focuses on how the different teams handle team work and stuff?

I'm gonna be cynical here and say the lack of individuality was probably for ease of making toys down the line lollll especially with the original Ranger X and (hopefully!) the Mutant Rangers requiring all-new, complex molds; the latter in particular. Making the Dimension X Turtles pallet swaps will put less of a dent on the budget

It just seems too late for me to attribute the same-ness of their design to a Mirage homage when nowadays TMNT adaptations take great lengths to make each turtle so visually distinct. I wouldn't want to go back to Mirage or even 1987 after these beautiful designs

I think people say it’s bad cause he got killed out of nowhere by a metal spike even though he’s like saved the world 15 times. It came out of no where and didn’t mean anything plot wise.

Ah then I guess it would have been better if the hunt was like that episode red meat and one of them dying would be like after a very intense fight so the whole idea of dying on a hunt would be executed better. like I haven’t caught up with this season yet so I dont know how rush that fight was but I just think dean dying on a hunt is kind of poetic (though I still prefer no one dying), but if he was the kind of character who’s never been able to quit being a hunter, him got killed by some monsters is bound to happen sooner or later, I suppose I’m just not oppose to that idea and it’s nice that they show the heaven version of the bros reuniting, but yeah killed by a metal spike is kind of an anticlimax way to go lol

Same reason you don’t eat raw eggs. It’s to avoid salmonella. Usually it has that printed on the flour bag. It wasn’t something I learned until I heard it on a tv show but I don’t think anyone’s at risk cause no one eats raw flour

Oh, we don't really care about raw eggs either here. I mean it's not like we go around eating raw eggs left and right but we don't fuss about eating raw cookie dough at all and such. I have no idea about stuff like that but maybe we don't have the same kinds of bacteria over here or something? idk
