I just think it's so touching knowing that when we met Haurchefant we were trying to clear the name of someone who has been falsly accused of heresy and then we work hard for Haurchefant in order to battle heretics... And then he sees you walk into the city with the leader of the heretics, and he's confused a second, but it takes just a nod from you for him to go "ok, i'll protect her too then". He doesn't even understand what's going on, he just knows that if you trust her then so does he, and he'll help out even if he doesn't get an explaination. He trusts you over all the propaganda he's ever heard about heretics, despite knowing what awaits nobles who are believed to be sympathic to heretics. Because YOU trust her so he trusts you. It's sooooo. he's so.MAN.
