I don’t post a lot of personal stuff but I woke up before 4am this morning so I could watch the Unus Annus live stream. I’ve been watching from the beginning, made a YouTube channel specifically to subscribe and watched them every morning before work. My mum saw enough over my shoulder each morning to recognize the videos on sight.
This year I committed to trying something new and I stuck to it. Mark and Ethan encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and I absolutely love it now that I’m doing it.
I didn’t think I’d get emotional about this finished, not really but sitting here in the last hour I’m fighting tears. I pride myself on being a creative even I don’t share a lot of the stuff I try. What Mark said about creators giving away a piece of themself really struck me and I’m so grateful for all the encouragement everyone involved in this channel has given to the creative community.
I’m so amazed by all the art, animations, everything I’ve seen. Everything people have been encouraged to make unrelated to the channel. Just the inspiration they’ve provided is so amazing. I hope their memory keeps inspiring more creation.
