The name ask meme: Tiffany, Richard, Charlie
Tiffany: I don’t think I’ve ever known a Tiffany. Not that I can think of, at least. Idk, maybe a cousin-in-law? But I’m not sure.
Richard: There was a boy at my elementary school named Richard. We were sort of friends in kindergarten, but we grew apart after that because we were in different classes. We were in the same class in 4th grade, and our teacher was really mean to him about his ADHD. I felt kind of bad at the time that I didn’t try to comfort him, but I didn’t want to embarrass him, especially because I wasn’t sure if he was ok with people knowing he had ADHD. The only reason I knew was because at the after-school program we both went to, a list of which medications certain students took was posted in a very visible place, which now that I think of it, seems horribly irresponsible of the staff. Like I can see how maybe info about emergency medications might need to posted in an easily accessible place, but Ritalin? That shouldn’t have been in a spot where other kids could see it.
Charlie: I have a former neighbor named Charles, though he went by a different name when he was my neighbor. I went to his house a lot when I was a kid, to play with his daughter. And for awhile, his brother Josh, who was my age, lived with him. Josh had a crush on me for about a decade. I think he finally got over it when he started dating my sister’s best friend, although that made things awkward in a different way, because then my sister’s friend spent all her time with Josh, and my sister was upset about that, and I felt caught in the middle. Oh, I think you were there when they got together. It was at my 21st birthday party. He was the really tall dude who gave me a complete set of Fullmetal Alchemist DVDs.
Charles and his daughter moved to the midwest 5 years ago, and I know Josh went to live with them for awhile, and then I think he moved back here at some point, but I’m not sure. I’m not really in touch with them anymore. But I do know that Charles’ daughter got married recently. I heard that from Charles’ ex, who was recently at my house to fix the bathrooms (and got the hallway bathroom working properly for the first time in 8 years! woooooo!)
