headcanon: Akane's cat named Nana

Before I show the my new art~ let me share some arts I drew a month or two ago.

So, here is the story of the little she-cat💓

I wrote a fanfiction, which I’ll be posting on AO3 soon, along with an announcement-post, where I completely changed the turn of events from the movie ( https://inazuma-eleven.fandom.com/wiki/Inazuma_Eleven_GO_the_Movie:_The_Ultimate_Bonds_Gryphon )

Specifically, Endou and his teammates didn't make it in time to pick up the Raimon's players, so Fifth Sector successfully took them to "God Eden" for training~~

Almost two weeks later (within the story's timeline in my fanfiction), Raimon has escaped and is living in the jungle (just like in the movie's canon)

One day, Ichino and Akane are out walking in the jungle together

(Yeah, yeah, where Shuu lives with his tribe)

They stumble upon a stray, one-month-old kitten of indeterminate breed

(I don't want to give a major spoiler, but believe me, there is a logic to it. The cat just happened to be passing through – if I had to explain it without giving away a huge spoiler!)

However, Akane notices features in the kitten that resemble Ichino: blue eyes and gray fur

Together, Ichino and Akane rescue the kitten and care for it throughout the rest of the story in my fanfiction and future in my headcanons. Akane becomes her owner. Akane cuts a small ribbon from her own blue bow to serve as a makeshift jungle collar and names the kitten "Nana" – which is Ichino's name.

Ichino is incredibly flustered, thinking Akane is joking, just paying him a compliment, or that it’s merely a coincidence after all, "Nana" isn't exactly a rare name.

But Akane gently explains to her blushing boyfriend:

"The kitten looks just like you, so now the two of you will have similar names!"

As the cat grew up, it turned out she was a Ragdoll (https://cfa.org/breed/ragdoll/) with a curious, temperamental personality.

Yet, Nana seems to understand that Ichino is dear to Akane, so she doesn't turn up her nose at him in haughty disdain

So when Akashi steps through the citadel doors he's pinned to the ground by a crying Ichigo who's just saying "you're home" over and over again spilling out all his emotions such as missing Akashi's presence and Aizen/Hotaru who he had to take care of
