Actes Sud Junior's gorgeous French-Language printing of Ichinori's Issun Boshi is a must-buy- the story is simple enough that you really don't need to understand the Writing, and the images are mind-crushingly brilliant. By the looks of things they are wood-engravings layered up using a restricted colour palette and they sing out of the page. Get yourself one!
