Indie singer/songwriter Phoebe Ryan wants to find out what to in case she misses you after a breakup in latest release “ICIMY.”

“ICIMY” –  which stands for “in case I miss you” – was written last spring Ryan revealed in an interview with Billboard. After struggling to get over a faded love, she was baffled as to why she wasn’t over the relationship yet and thus the lyrics, “what am I supposed to do in case I miss you” were born. Despite the somber lyrics it’s the most upbeat release of hers this year and followings 2019’s “A Thousand Ways” and “Build Me Up” and her feature on SEBASTIAN PAUL’S “SO DONE.”

“ICIMY” asks the questions that everyone can relate to post break-up and does so in the mix of a swirling drive of guitar, synths and larger than life anthemic lyrics that are therapeutic to scream out loud.

On November 25th, Ryan tweeted out the question, “Do we need an album in 2020?” hinting that this new song could be part of a larger project. Get ready for the potential album by streaming the new song above.
