This is fanart of the excellent fic "De Profundis", something I've gone back to read multiple times since entering my PnF phase near the end of last year!!! I LOVE strong brotherhood and platonic partnership. I love a kind of love that can conquer empires and move mountains.

Slayers: Lina and Gourry have a talk about “that time of month” - novel setting She braced for it. The typical male response when confronted by the fact that women bled for several days each month. The gross sounds. The jokes. 

Gourry didn’t say anything for several minutes. He stared into the fire. She wondered if he didn’t understand what she told him, and she wasn’t about to repeat it. Enough of the pain had subsided that she regretted going down this path at all.

He looked at her, his expression so gentle that her heart slowly rolled over in her chest. “It must be really hard on you, isn’t it?”

Ask you anything AU: Trolls World Tour , but it doesn’t follow the same plot as the first movie. IM NOT SALTY

Alright, let’s just pretend the whole plot of the strings didn’t exist

1. Flashback of the Bergen taking the Troll tree and moving it to Bergen Town, not knowing that a group of trolls got left behind and vow to free the other trolls.

2. Time skip, ninja like trolls are attacking Kng Gristle, demanding he release the trolls from the troll tree. Poppy arrive, and managed to tell these group of trolls them and the Bergens are buds now...the ninja trolls (have spend over a decade training to kick the Bergens butt) have a hard time believing it.

3. The leader of the ninja Trolls is Branch’s mom, who is beyond happy to learn Branch is alright but devastated to learn she was too late to save Branch’s grandmother. They love comparing traps designs and weapons

4. Plot of the movie is tension between Poppy and Branch’s mom who insists on being prepared in case someone attacks them again but Poppy doesn’t think they need it and Branch is caught in between since he sees both side.

5. Not sure how the movie would end, but Poppy and Branch’s mom reach a compromise and Branch is happy he gets part of his family back.

Podfic Covers 2018

I started making podfic covers this year and looking back I’m quite pleased with how most of them turned out!

I started with the quite plain one for Obsession, the next one was Madame Mort (a beautiful fanart), then I tried snapshots for Sulk and Scritch, where I realized it was very hard to put text on them.

After that, I tried more for “mood” than “show” as seen in the covers for Warm and Under Cover(s) (with a very early attempt for Reflections).

A cross between show and mood was Beating Heart.

While the Necessity cover is kinda plain like the one for Obsession, I loved the stereotypical layout for “romantic-comedy” Hollywood often uses for movies... It isn’t perfect but it makes me smile every time I see it.

The last one I did was for Naughty and Nice. I took the movie advertisement and found I had very little to add. I tried myself on very basic editing by filling black holes in North’s beard to make my name readable.

All these covers were made with paint.

... and I just realise never made a cover for Seven, Eight, Nine... ups

Pretty much. Jack’s all for it when he finds out about the dragon slaying in exchange for marriage thing, because seriously? Not only does he get to keep his furry boyfriend, he gets epic bragging rights (because no way are any of his sibling’s suitors *ever* going to top this). He also argues emphatically for having the head mounted on the wall of the Great Hall, but his father is having none of that.
