No pics yet (it's raining right now), but as of today, the toad that has been VERY noisy in our manmade backyard pond has been reported a successful woo-er and papa! Lots of itty-bitty toad tadpoles swimming around in there 😁
!! pls show me pictures of the pond when you can!
Would you say Stake Sauce is YA-friendly? I've got someone looking for m/m YA fantasy recs, and I'd love to be able to point them in your direction, maybe get you another preorder.
Yes, I would! I’ve often been told that my adult books “read like YA” and have crossover appeal (which I take as a huge compliment tbh). And STAKE SAUCE definitely counts as urban fantasy I think, with horror elements.
I really hope they enjoy, if they check it out!
LET THE CARROT CAKENING COMMENCE
yeah, the one with pineapple in it.
I wish you would write a fic where [Marinette or Ladybug] teaches [Adrien or Cat Noir] a craft, and an identity reveal happens because identity-that-did-not-do-the-teaching sees identity-she-did-not-teach making something that he eventually gives as a gift to teaching-identity. Bonus points if identity-that-did-not-do-the-teaching has to help him out with a tricky bit ;)

Podfic Covers 2018
I started making podfic covers this year and looking back I’m quite pleased with how most of them turned out!
I started with the quite plain one for Obsession, the next one was Madame Mort (a beautiful fanart), then I tried snapshots for Sulk and Scritch, where I realized it was very hard to put text on them.
After that, I tried more for “mood” than “show” as seen in the covers for Warm and Under Cover(s) (with a very early attempt for Reflections).
A cross between show and mood was Beating Heart.
While the Necessity cover is kinda plain like the one for Obsession, I loved the stereotypical layout for “romantic-comedy” Hollywood often uses for movies... It isn’t perfect but it makes me smile every time I see it.
The last one I did was for Naughty and Nice. I took the movie advertisement and found I had very little to add. I tried myself on very basic editing by filling black holes in North’s beard to make my name readable.
All these covers were made with paint.
... and I just realise never made a cover for Seven, Eight, Nine... ups
Psst have you listened to last week's TTAZZ yet
No, I haven’t. I don’t think I’ve ever listened to any of the TTAZZ and I’m waaay behind on TAZ (still on Amnesty) so lol
date a fly-girl. date a fly-girl who became interested in you after you started dating a honey-girl, which soon resulted in the three of you entering a loving polyamorous triad. your ex-girlfriend, a vinegirl, is still sour about how happy you are, but you've moved on with your life and love your two girlfriends very much, and they both love you and each other
