5/8/24- a quick checkin + recipe
Hi friends! Today marks 3 weeks since I began my calorie deficit and this weight loss journey, and I’m officially 295.5lbs which means I have lost 7.9lbs so far! 🎉 I know this is likely mostly water and bloat, but you’ve gotta start somewhere.
Additionally, my wedding anniversary was last month and I was gifted a Ninja iCreami (ya know, the viral ice cream maker all over social media?) and I have been devouring a protein ice cream recipe I’d like to share with you all.
I present to you…Mocha Cookie Protein Ice Cream
In your creami container, combine:
1 cup Fairlife chocolate milk
1 cup unsweetened regular almond milk
1 scoop Ghost Coffee Ice Cream protein powder
1 tbsp sugar free chocolate pudding mix
1 tsp instant decaf coffee
Stir/shake until thoroughly combined. Freeze overnight. Spin on the “light ice cream” setting the next day- the mixture will be crumbly. Add in 1 tbsp of milk, and run a re-spin. Once done, crush up 1 packet of Benton’s 100 calorie chocolate cookie wafers (found at Aldi), dump into your ice cream, and run the “mix-in” cycle. After- VOILA! Amazing, yummy ice cream you can demolish without worrying about ruining your diet.
Calories: 435 for the entire pint. I usually eat it in halves (217 cals) over two nights- just re-spin any leftovers before serving.
Enjoy my loves 🍨 until next time!
