Zoo! I love the zoo so much. I mean it’s full of animals, what’s not to love? My favourite family vacations have all been long weekends at the zoo with my brother. And I’m not gonna lie, seeing animals from all over the world and reading about where they come from is very inspiring as far as writing goes. Research and fun put together.

For me, a like means ‘I loved this’ and sometimes I’m tired and don’t really have the energy to make a comment (lame excuse, I know). And tbh, although I really want to start reblogging more works, I honestly just forget to.

No, being tired is actually a legitimate reason. I often read fic at night when I’m kind of braindead, so I have that too. But what I do then is go back the next morning and comment. I know not everyone thinks it’s that important, but I always do that... I have about 15 tabs open in my browser with fics I have read but didn’t have the energy yet to comment on.

LOTS of people have told me they have a bad memory. Which again, I have too. So I understand that as well. I’m just honestly curious, and please don’t feel like I’m calling you out. But since we’re talking about this: does the I forget mean you didn’t like the fic enough? Or does that happen with the majority of fics and it’s just up to chance?

I had people tell me that they’re sorry they don’t reblog my stories, they just have a bad memory. But then I see them reblogging a lot of other fics and they comment on those too. Which might not be intentional! I just feel really really bad when that happens, like I’m just not good enough and they don’t want to hurt my feelings so they tell me they ‘forget’. Does that actually happen? Because if it does, I’d prefer people to just tell me they don’t like my stories enough. And if it’s just me being silly, then that would be great to know too.
