Tilting her head to side she does place hands on hips, usual power pose whenever she would possibly run into someone who might scam her. Whenever someone wanted to avoid guilt it was usually to hide their own tracks she wasn't buying it really. “Aha sure, so ya wouldn't happen to know if someone snagged pair of goggles from mah bike? “ not that it mattered she can always get a new one but man did it suck especially when driving through dusty roads.

💖 How do they say ‘I love you’ without really saying it?

:: Nova

(( Nova is a bit tricky because she has this genuine love for people that comes pretty easily to her, but at the same time if she believes that it makes them uncomfortable or if they are just an acquaintance she’ll find subtler ways to express it. I don’t think she really knows how to hold back completely other than avoiding a person, but she really doesn’t like doing that. ))

(( She also has the belief that openly taking credit for actions born out of the feelings for another person ruins it and doesn’t make it as special, so she’s more prone to secretly doing nice things for people when she thinks no one is watching. )) 

::Apalla

(( This second one was a bit more rushed and I forgot to colour those things, so feel free to imagine them as either mangos OR really big kidneys))

(( Apalla takes a very different approach, being pretty blunt and outrageous in her presentation. She’s a aloof/goofy character, also highly observant to what’s going on with other people and will take some time to come up with some scheme to try and make people she loves smile and makes sure that they know they aren’t alone. This can backfire a lot due to how impulsive she is, since she struggles understanding the way things operate socially off of the island. ))

(( But it’s okay! She’ll keep trying till she gets it!! >:o ))

(( Both women are very loving down to the core, mostly due to their culture, but the biggest thing they have in common is that they trust and love people easily and won’t give up on trying to find any semblance of good in others, even if no one else believes it to be true. ))

(( This is from an ingrained belief on their island that the relentless love for everyone/thing is what will make them complete as people; the sort of highest form of humanity, for lack of better word. I like to refer to it as “agape love” because the more-modern contexts of the word actually fit this really well, even though they don’t really have a god complex.))

(( TL;DR: They’re just really good people, man.))

💗 What advice would they give a potential partner about making their relationship last if they could with no judgment?

“If you don’t like who I am or how I act, that’s fine. But you need to be honest about it.”

“Sometimes people just want a quick fling and there’s nothin’ wrong with that-  don’t push me or yourself into something you don’t want, or aren’t emotionally equipped to handle. I don’t want our entire relationship to revolve around solving all our personal problems. ‘Course I’ll help you out whenever I can, and I hope you’d help me out if it ever comes to that- but there is more to life than just making ourselves suffer all the time and I want to explore that.”

“Before I get as old and gross as Nova.”

A weird slam of a statement to end on, given that both her and her sister are practically infants at the perspective of the oldest on their ship, but she was sticking by it!
