THINGS FEEL complicated after cuba. well, maybe not complicated, but definitely unclear. she’s not sure where they stand, where SHE stands. there’d been a moment there on the beach where she thought erik was going to say fuck it all and become someone... something else. she’s not sure what she would have done, but she thinks maybe she’d have taken his side. but he’s been angry since they’ve been back. and there’s certainly been no conversation about what happened that NIGHT BEFORE. so she feels caught in an odd limbo and it’s driving her absolutely crazy. she clears her throat and knocks on the open door to his room. better, she thinks, than just showing up naked in his bed like last time.
