Question. If that day of losing influence for making the AU or stop making the AU, would you reveal the rest of the story in text instead of comic?

Probably.

There’s a few parts I know I’m gonna make in a comic no matter what - White D’s Origin Story, for example.

The rest, if I do abandon it, will probably end up going up in fic form or something.

I know that you are more focused on the Steven Universe AU, but have you ever thought of making another comic while doing the AU? I have thought of many things while I write and I can't get rid of them until I write it. Its like I'm thinking of a regular story and my brain goes "But what if?"

The short answer to ‘have you ever thought of making another comic’ is yes.

But.

BUT.

There are only 24 hours in the day.

I use 7 of them to sleep

2 go into my commute to work

8 goes into my workday

5 go into eating, showering, other daily things

that leaves 2 hours on my workdays to draw. More than that for no-work days, but regardless.

now, I actually know EXACTLY what you mean

I have TONS of other comic ideas. I have a short story idea for a comic I’ve wanted to draw for a while. I’ve had a longer, superhero-adjecent graphic novel idea. I have a longer, 3 part epic (some of you know of this one, it’s called Viridian) that I have been planning since 3 years ago. I have various other ideas and plots in my head at all times.

But there are only 24 hours in the day.

I work an energy-intensive job. I am the main source of income for myself and my partner.

So... have I ever thought of making another comic?

Yes.

My whole dang life is comics. I love comics. I love drawing. I always WILL be drawing, or wanting to draw, or planning comics in my head.

Is this story already scripted or you making up as you go?

Before I had certain events I knew would happen in my head. I had some pages that were fully scripted ahead of time and some that weren’t. It was a mess and this time around im scripting out everything before I draw anything. It will be better for pacing, flow, and story. I should have been doing this all along tbh.
