WHAT’S YOUR STYLE?: In writing? Third person, past tense. I try to keep posts short but things happen. Lots of things. They always happen. Like now. Look at this. In general? Sarcasm. Lots of it. Puns and easter eggs. Now you see me, now you don’t. Easily distracted. 1k tabs open. Research-hoe. Direct-ish. Idk, ask Ileo. She thinks I’m blessed. She’s a lying liar who lies if she says otherwise.

FAVORITE PLOTS/TYPE OF THREADS: Organic character development. I want to explore all types of nuanced relationships between characters; familial, platonic, romantic, adversarial. The more complicated or difficult the character the BETTER. Tense nuanced families. Delayed self-realizations. Frenemies w/ debt, (gal)ileo rp challenges. Friends who chat on the beach about philosophical things like the state of marine wildlife. Romances between difficult af people with hella issues and denial. Difficult anything. Difficult family/friends relationships. Plots where that difficulty is unraveled. Random friend outings to explore the setting. Meaningful, soulful friends or romances along the 'ride or die' route. Childhood buds! Anything that vibes with site setting and history. All dat jazz.

I’m currently abstaining from comms threads - with potential exceptions re: groups or vital plot-relevant ones. I’m looking forward to real threads. I’m really invested in telling stories with promising character development and on-site progress.

I’m Jamaican-American, so I’m hella hyped and I’m looking forward to plots that are grounded in realism and culture.

ANYTHING ELSE?: I’m from the Bronx (#excellence). It’s my greatest accomplishment tbh. Both my parents are Jamaica and I have tons of other connections to the caribbeans re: classes and internships that I’ve taken. What I’m saying is that I’m tres psyched. It might show up in my writing. Also, I typically go by ‘KC’ on sites I only rp on.

There’s a Jamaican reggae artist called Vybz Kartel who has been in jail since 2014 and will be there for decades to come. And still he releases a shit ton of music all the time. I'm not lying. Check his youtube. There's literally 3 songs from the past week alone. The crazy part is they have music videos... which ofc he can't be in.... because.... he's in jail. And yet the dude's taking over the charts. I say this all to let you know that I will always, ALWAYS reference him whenever he comes out with #AnotherOne. It’s the strangest thing in my life and I’m obsessed with it.
