Idea Hub - Day 6

Can’t think of how to turn our prompt into a fully-fledged fic? Well here are some fic outlines for Day 6: Blind Dates

1) One of the boys sets the other up on a blind date. Maybe the date goes terribly, maybe it goes really well and they’re left trying to figure out why they’re so upset about it.

2) Christopher is fed up with his dad and his Buck loving each other and not being together, as such he sets Buck and Eddie up on a blind date

3) Buck sits down with Eddie thinking he’s the ‘hot brunette’ Maddie said would be meeting him for his blind date. (He is not)

4) Eddie arranges a date with the guy he’s been chatting too on Grindr. Turns out that the arms in his date’s profile picture actually belong to his best friend, Buck.

5) The two get randomly paired up at a Valentine event planned to give singles a date on the dreaded day of love.

1) Buck and Eddie decide to take advantage of Valentine’s day and pose as a couple to get a free dinner/free items.

2 )Buck hates Valentine’s Day and Valentine's Day dates. Eddie takes him on a fake date to prove they can be great. 

3) When almost every call ends up with someone asking Buck, Eddie, or both of them on a Valentine’s date the two decide to team up and pretend to date so they can stop having to awkwardly turn people down while trying to strap them to a spine board.

4) Buck keeps telling people he has a date for Valentine’s to avoid people asking when he’s going to get another girlfriend, cue jealous, pining Eddie. 

5) Person A and Person B have a Valentine’s Day tradition of going to fancy restaurants and fake proposing for the free items they get. It’s just Person A’s luck that they happen to fall in love with the waiter one lame joke at a time and now risk either screwing up a lifelong (well a few year long) tradition or looking like an asshole when they try to ask for their number at the end when their new ‘fiancee’ has left.

Idea hub - Day 5

1) Eddie has a Valentine’s Day date. His sitter cancels last minute and he is forced to ask Buck to babysit Christopher.

2) Buck and Eddie are finally going on a first date, that is, of course, until the morning shift they’re both pulling goes into all hands on deck after a massive pile-up and leaves them trapped at the station all day.

3) One of the boys tries to cook for the other...They are not a good cook.

4) Buck, like any good date, brings Eddie flowers and chocolate, but Eddie never told him he was allergic to peanuts. They spend their Valentine’s day in a hospital room.

5) AU! Buck and Eddie meeting in a hospital waiting room on Valentine’s Day. The two regale the tales of how their valentine ended with them alone in a hospital. Perhaps one is a doctor/nurse. Perhaps they’re both idiots. Who knows, the possibilities are endless.

1) Buck tries to get Eddie to help him hook up the newest member of the team.

2) Buck thinks he’s an amazing matchmaker...He is not.

3) Someone tries to get Buck and Eddie together. Little do they know the two are already dating.

4) Hen sets up a matchmaking test for all the singles in the 118, Buck and Eddie are matched 100/100

5) Buck’s Valentine’s day horoscope encourages him to admit his feelings to those closest to him. Buck does it.

1) Person A keeps finding gifts from their secret admirer in their locker at work. They try to figure out who it is.

2) Person A always thought the idea of secret admirers was cute and then they got one only it’s the last person in the world they want it to be.

3)  Eddie writes notes to Buck, never intending to give them to him. One day Buck is gushing about having a secret admirer after he found the notes stuffed inside his mailbox

1) After almost dying by choking on a piece of bread the last time he went on a Valentine’s Day date, Buck decides to swear of Valentine’s Day and instead turn his focus to ‘Broentines Day’ after watching the Galentines episode of Parks and Recs.The problem is the only day they all have off is Valentine’s Day and everyone but Eddie is too busy with their actual dates to participate in Broentines day. Cue Buck and Eddie going on what at this point very much looks and feels like a date.

2)  Buck, Eddie, and Chris decide to spend Valentine's Day together, first they watch a movie, then get ice cream, then dinner complete with roses and chocolate. Turns out Chris had tricked them into going on a date.

3) The 118 men find out that Athena, Maddie and Hen have all planned a Galentine's day and decide to turn it into a competition. Cue Girls versus boys who can have the best Palentines day.
