Odds of Buddieher quarantining together?

It’s an excellent question, which is also code for a difficult one. Which I love!
OK, I thought about this long and hard ( <--- it’s what Buck said about Eddie ) for you and honestly, here’s what I have...
I think from a technical POV, the odds are 50-50, because Henren on the one hand and Bathena on the other are the married-with-grown-kids couples of the show. TPTB are not gonna separate them during the quarantine. Especially not Henren, with the little girl they’ve taken in recently.
So who does the show have left to play with? Buddie and Madney. Which means technically, 50-50. Either Buck stays with Eddie or he quarantines with some or the whole household of Madney+Albert.
Now, Tim promised us something surprising with the quarantine arrangements (or something similar, sorry that I no longer remember his exact wording), but it was a definite tease on his part.
Who would he best tease us with? Buddie. Because he KNOWS a huge segment of the fans want that to happen. But if it’s meant to be surprising... that wouldn’t be that surprising, tbh. It would be playing right into fandom’s wishes, plus keeping Madney in tact, meaning all couples that are canon will be quarantining together.
And what would they do with Buddie quarantining together? They would have to give them either development or conflict. I think the very start of the season is too early for Buddie development, and I’m not sure they wanna add in conflict at this point, not without it going hand in hand with development.
Buck quarantining with some or the whole combo of Madney + Albert, that is more surprising and it gives them the potential to play on a lot of different dynamics. Buck with Chim, now not only his friend but also in a sense his brother-in-law, how does that work? Buck with Maddie, while she’s going through a huge change, and when their parents are slated to come back for a visit that will wake some ghosts from the past. What will that do to their r/s, how will it change, too? Buck with Albert, a kind of brother-in-law from now on, another part of Buck’s new family dynamic, someone who may allow him to reflect on siblings in general, but also the only member of the ensemble younger than Buck, allowing him to take a different role vis-a-vis Albert.
So technically, it’s 50-50. But in terms of potential drama? Well, I still want Buddie to be quarantining together, but I think the odds are actually leaning more in the direction of Buck with some combo of the Madney+Albert household. Which may give rise to Buddie content still, as Eddie will be outside this situation and can be Buck’s confidant throughout it... ;)
