I still have no clue what I plan to be for Halloween

Like I can barely use a sewing machine but like the costumes I see are pretty pricey and not the best quality. Should I just be a cartoon character? Like I have some pretty unique clothing, but honestly I wished to be apart of Like a couple costume💔 Or like matching idk like with friends or a group.

Answered here in more detail, but the short answer is - give me a plot idea or a story to work with. :D I want to share the story with the other mun and not write everything by myself (that's the joy of roleplaying, right?).

New Story Idea has a doc detailing dialects for each character: what slang might they use? what do the call carbonated beverages (correct answer: soda)? do they say yeah, yes, or yep? what grammatical constructions are they more likely to use? have I given them any verbal ticks (nts: B starts 50% of sentences with “Right”)?

So this is obv a lot of research. Like, where did they grow up, where did their parents grow up, where did they go to school, where do they live now, what’s their socio-economic class, what are they trying to project about themselves. It’s interesting (did you know some Irish dialects answer yes/no questions by repeating the subject and verb? (aka a full sentence, not a one-word answer)) and frustrating (nobody calls their fridge a reefah, I’m sorry, it’s a fridge. ‘Reefer’ means something else) and I am entirely too much of a geek about it.

So in New Story Idea, one of the main characters is Very Bostonian. So I find myself doing research on my own accent. And I’m discovering words I thought were universal are regionalisms (do other parts of the US really have “turn signals” instead of “blinkers?”) and things I thought were Bostonian are actually picked up from somewhere else (apparently Boston only drops the R from the end of words, and dropping internal Rs (bird=bahd, there=theyah) is a Maine thing?)

So now I have a little list of “slang” that’s like: rotary = rotary bubbler = bubbler wicked = you know wtf wicked means
