Now that we know there's a west in Iron Widow's world I can try to create some kind of french kingdom resisting the assault of the hunduns and make up pilots and chrysalises based on my country's lore and the more I think about it the sillier it seems. What if I dumped Joan of Arc, Napoleon, louis XIV and Aliénor of Aquitaine in the same story. What if I did that. And they're using giant robots to fight each other.
