Got my necklace from @ideationox today! Photo does not do it justice.
I've been eyefucking Ideationox's crystal sword pendants for months, and finally found the one worth exceeding my budget for in the December set. Not a great pic, sorry, but its so fucking pretty! I'm actually gonna take it off the chain it comes on and use it in a maille piece of some kind, but I haven't decided exactly what yet. Maybe an ice blue/black ice Elfweave choker? Either single-strand Elfweave braid, or a 2- or 3-width true Elfweave. I love the dense look of 3-wide true Elfweave, but I feel like it might be too much to go with this pendant, since its fairly slender and delicate itself. Probably just go with the braid, then. ...after I finally get off my ass and make the aluminum/brass mixed HP3S6 strap for my purse, since the 6 strands of plain curb chain I threw on there as a stopgap when the strap originally broke have started to fail now too. ...after I get some schoolwork done. Bleh.
