Aladdin woke up to the sound of servants rushing into the room, trays of food in their hands being left of the table beside him. He smiled to himself. He’d been living in the palace for months now, but it was still a surprise to him every time he opened his eyes. He looked next to him and saw Jasmine still sleeping, and he smiled to himself. He allowed himself this moment to look around himself. The vast expanse of the room, the mountain of pillows around him. Everything he’d wished he had as a boy. And now it was his. He turned to Jasmine, rubbing her arm softly, “Time to wake up Sleeping Beauty.” He teased, stomach growling as he smelled the food around him.
