International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam,  22 Nov 2014

Do women make different documentaries than men? And do women come across different obstacles while trying to finance or produce their documentary projects? A 4 hours' Industry Talk part of IDFA's 2014 programme, named Female Gaze, tried to spot what position female directors occupy in the contemporary documentary industry. Some of the guests attending were the directors Kim Longinotto, Jessica Hu and Pirjo Honkassalo. I was invited to take part due to my latest work, especially with the film WOMEN ON WOMEN.
