The leaders are out of Unalakleet and the "real race" has begun. Nic Petit has officially become the leader and most have him winning this thing. Joar is right now second but had to drop his main leader and is unsure about his untested replacement. Mitch Seavey's the most experienced and is still positive about the wellbeing of his team, he is the weak link in his team as he himself is not as athletic as Nic or Joar. Still, his team appears to be gaining on Joar, and has the better rested team of the top 3. Nic still has about a two hour lead on him tho. As they race up the coast that will become harder to overtake.
