The "I love the way men love" thing kind of enrages me ever since realizing that women have historically done all that shit for men too, just in ways that aren't valued.
Men Love By Creating And Fixing Useful Things For Their Woman.
Women have been knitting socks for their husbands' cold feet, mending their husband's favorite shirts, creating medicines for their husbands' symptoms, planning vegetable gardens based on their husbands' tastes, and preparing their husband the perfect hot meal for a cold day for centuries. Women have invented and improved upon so many tools and techniques used to create and fix things for their families. But this is just seen as Women Being Women.
Women would've been doing more home and vehicle repair and woodworking and welding etc etc if it had been accepted sooner and encouraged as much as it is for men. Men would've been doing more textile work and food preparation and gardening etc if it was accepted sooner and encouraged as much as it is for women. There is nothing uniquely special about "the way men love" or the way women love. All we are looking at is gender segregated forms of creation and repair.

My boyfriend is getting a lot of shit at work over the marks I leave on his neck, not so much with coworkers but the POS people he services.

Misogynistic men are so pathetic. Their desperate need to be a patriarch only reveals how insecure and lacking they are.
Being innately owed respect is so much easier but how sad sad sad for them when they learn that actually they weren't born better than everyone and they don't deserve more than others, including power.
The reason they cling to the belief that they're innately worthy of leadership (or rather, tyranny) is that they know that they aren't truly worthy of it by their character or works. And it gives them an excuse to control women so they can have whatever they want.

You don't have to draw visibly disabled women as wearing makeup and high fashion with a fancy hairstyle every time, it's okay.
In fact stop drawing every woman with makeup. And don't do it just to make a point, not with intent to show off that you're subversive or to add text about being naturally beautiful. I mean learn to draw women in all the situations you want to draw them in but with normal fucking faces, not wings and shadow and contour and shiny colored lips. Why do you make every woman look like a model in every situation every time.
Especially if you draw adventurer or fighter women with makeup when it doesn't make sense, I don't respect you as an artist.
