Shocked those shoulders this morning! I've grown tired of the workout I've been doing for the last month so I decided to switch it up. If I was doing barbells for an excercise, now it's dumbells or plates and vice versa. Then I slowed down the rep count to 4 seconds on BOTH concentric and eccentric phases. My traps are on fire!!!! Today's motivational moment is this: don't let someone else define what success means to you. Remember why you started this #fitness lifestyle- to create a better you! People will encourage you along the way, and that's always a fantastic thing, but you'll find more haters or naysayers than anything. We may be building bodies that look like they were carved from stone but we still feel. Instead of dwelling on the negative and letting that kill your motivation use it to fuel your passion! Make that fire into a raging inferno!
