I don't know if I'm letting my guard down too easily. Today I tried telling a friend what I've been through these past couple years, but I've only known her for a little over half a year. We've gotten so close though, but I'm afraid if I tell her, she's going to think of me differently and basically run away. I'm scared too let her in because it's so hard to recover from someone who does leave after what you've just told them.
