bedtime has a funny way of making a girl feel a little more honest.

maybe i’m touch-starved.

maybe i’m just craving someone’s undivided attention.

either way… i can’t help but wonder what it feels like to have someone look at me like i’m the only thing on their mind.

until then, i’ll be here…

trying not to stay up too late waiting for my inbox to light up.

There’s something about staying up late that feels honest. Like during the day you’re performing—replying, smiling, existing on cue.

But at night? It’s just you. No expectations. No noise.

You think about old conversations, people you almost became, futures that almost happened.

And somehow… it doesn’t feel sad. Just real. Like you’re meeting yourself without an audience.
