Pasty white mama belly alert! Lol... after 2 weeks of yuckiness + 1 month of my kids in and out of the doc, time to refocus and get real. So, it's accountability time. I'm starting over from Day 0 on Hammer & Chisel, and this is why: 1. While helping my kids fight a stomach bug and allergy/sinus funk, not to mention myself for the last 2 weeks, my workouts were hit and miss and then non existent for more than 3 days at a time. If I miss more than 2-3 days of a program, it's time to begin anew. 2. I PROMISED myself I'd do this program from start to finish- upping weights, actually working at doing real chin ups, and give it my best nutritionally, too. 3. The new Hard Corps from Tony Horton is releasing (tomorrow) and I want to have H&C successfully actually completed and under my belt, before/after photos and all, before moving on to a new program. My personal goals for Hammer & Chisel? -stay focused on my nutrition -stay consistent with my workouts -have fun with weights & chin ups -increase muscle (I want to burn fat, tone up, AND get stronger) -stay accountable to myself and my fellow challengers & coaches by checking in daily to our group And! I plan to remember: -to stay the same or even increase a bit in weight in pounds is okay (I expect to gain muscle and burn fat) -take weekly progress pics & measure! -take courage & believe #eatsweatbelieverepeat #lifefitmama #vitalbehaviors #beginanew #bethechange #wakeupcall #pastywhite #idonttan #fitmoms #progressnotperfection #sweatpink (at Little Elm, Texas)
