Astrellates are extremely rare beings sparked in the core of a star before being ejected out into the Void. After what may be millions of years, lucky astrellates eventually get pulled into orbit and crash land somewhere inhabited. Some continue to travel indefinitely, resulting in the phenomena known as "shooting stars".
