Issue 77 is out, so I'm going to talk about it!
(Also, while I won't be talking about it in detail, the first issue of the Sonic X DC crossover came out and I'm also reading it, and on the topic of series published by DC, I've also spent the past month or so reading Fables and have almost finished its main series :3)
Sonic and the Chaotix start their search for Clutch by going to the place where Sonic first met him, being the White Chateau.
Upon their arrival, they see what appears to be someone inside, so they venture inside to find out who it is, and they find none other than…
After fighting Rough and Tumble's army of Eggman robots, they reveal that Clutch is also there with them and now works for them.
Clutch explains that after his plan failed, he escaped from Eggman and went back to the White Chateau to go into hiding and gave ownership of it to Rough and Tumble, and Clean Sweep Inc is only still functioning because its robotic employees are carrying on with their work while all of the non-robotic employees have left. Clutch gives Sonic and the Chaotix the address of a nearby Clean Sweep Inc base so they can see for themselves if he's telling the truth, and they decide to check it out. What Sonic and the Chaotix don't know however is that Clutch is now working for Eggman due to a device Eggman implanted into his head and is actually sending them towards a trap.
