I have no idea how/what to do with tags, any advice?

Uhm well personally i use tags for extra details that i think arent important enough to add to the main text, and occasionally i use the tag ‘long post’ because some people block that as a tag so they dont have their dash clogged by extra long and sometimes repetetive posts

I know that other responders use the tags to add trigger warnings to their posts (tw food, tw blood etc.) and also to tag whos in that thread (brain, mirror, bathtub, vanishing etc.) but i dont do that really and go by more of an ask to tag thing where if someone wants a trigger warning added to posts with that then they can ask me (which i realise now ive never actually specifically said so this is me saying that now i guess)

And if you dont know how to use tags, i dont know how to add them on computer, but on mobile theres a button that says ‘add tags to help people find your post’ which should be reasonably easy to see (at least thats how it is on apple devices i cant be sure if its the same for android)

I usually don’t talk about myself in terms like this, because there’s no need to do so.  But this is pride month, and I’ve already been such a big chicken that I’ve let appropriate opportunities pass me by.
