After you write that out, end with site:tumblr.com

Google will search for your text on just tumblr

In my experience, it’s way more effective than searching through Tumblr

(you can use site:SITENAME.com to search any site btws)

This usually works but for some reason a lot of posts get indexed on google from a person’s URL based on the posts that were recently reblogged on page 1, meaning that this is only a tiny bit more reliable.

The Doctor and Rose were sooo Domestic???

Like, I’m not only talking about the 10/Rose married-chaotic-couple dynamic, you know? Like, even 9/Rose strangers-to-friends-to-lovers dynamic, Mr. I-don’t-do-domestics ninth Doctor was so domestic with Rose!

I am obsessed with the novels! In the series we tend to forget that the Doctor and Rose live together and that they have to do stuff like eating and sleeping and sometimes just veg out, they usually just arrive ready for the adventure in all the episodes, but most of the novels have conversations and little scenes here and there that are so domestic it hurtsss.

So let me share with you some of that Domestic Bullshit™

First the 9th Doctor.

The flirting! Just a tiny example.

In The Monsters Inside,The Doctor and Rose communicate in code, he knows by heart Jackie Tyler’s phone number.

And they watch EastEnders together so Rose is all caught up.

When they go to visit Jackie he always stays for tea

Rose is comfortable enough to go into his pockets even when he’s wearing his jacket. Also, more flirting.

And then the married chaos of Ten/Rose

Rose sleeping in the console room while the Doctor does repairs on the TARDIS, and the Doctor watching her sleep.

They are so aware of each other, Rose catches whatever he throws at her. Also, they do groceries together.

And like I said in a past post, they play pool in the console room!

And they choose random locations with Rose’s MP3 player.

I said this before, and I’ll say it again. The Doctor and Rose were domestic. Thank you for coming to my TEDTalk.

I’ve noticed there are fewer butterflies just in the past few years.

Also bees. There aren’t as many bees.

Used to be even 10-15 years ago there would be patches of sidewalk next to gardens that sometimes you couldn’t walk on once in a while because they were just covered in butterflies sunning themselves between trips to the flowers.

Like there were times I would walk past some spots and it’d be like a movie with this wave of small butterflies that would fly up, disturbed by my passing.

Used to see lots of fireflies, too.

Now it’s a rare treat to see multiple butterflies at once, and lightning bugs are much fewer and far between.

It’s sad.
