May I ask what you write on? I want to get a laptop or pc, and I am wondering what type and kind I should consider!

How long do you like your IFs?
Sorry about all of the off-topic posts and questions, but this is a genuine question I have. What particular completed games have you played and how long were they? How many chapters were there and in total how long it took you to play through them?
Or for those who have published games, how long are they?
Or better yet, those who are currently writing IFs, how long are you planning to space them out? Do you plan to write in acts and chapters? In parts? Do you just write out whatever you feel and decide the order later?
I know there are a lot of IF WIPs, so I am not counting those; only the ones that are done. This can be on Choice of Games, Hosted Games, Steam, or itch.io.
For one of my WIPs, I am trying to figure out how to pace it. Should I squeeze in two chapters per week in-game? Should it be one long chapter? This will also help me understand how to lengthen it out and/or shorten it.
I had a dream that someone sent you an ask that said "smokeys, my void" so I'm just passing along the cosmic message 🫡
Well I dreamt I had two snakes, and one of them was doing fine but the other was really skinny for some reason, and no matter what I fed it and how much I took care of it, it kept getting skinnier and more noodly. So noodly in fact that it had trouble holding its head up. I kept it on my heater so that it would be warm at least.
Hello! My name is Meg (she/her) and I'm an author for two interactive fictions @house-of-evenmoor and @blooming-tides .
This is my "main" account. I don't post anything on here, since I'm mostly active on the development blogs, but feel free to follow this one too, if you'd like!
