The update is out!!

You can now play the first half of Track 4 "If I Have To" on cogdemos. I wanna thank the people on patreon for their help in weeding out the first bugs. And even though I'm dreading it, I'm gonna open my inbox to anon again for a few days so as to better receive you guys's feedback.

I really hope you guys enjoy. Also, here's a reminder that this game is for adult audiences only! Just in case.

I'm really really proud of how far this game has come/is still coming. I mean, this is only the first half of this chapter, and it's already bigger than chapter 1 in its entirety. Also note the added discography in the stat menu. It's something many of you have requested over time and I hope it'll enhance your experience <3

You seem to have consistently good takes on things, so I'm curious. What are your top five favorite interactive fiction games, and favorite character from those games?

I cant really say which of them is best them the other because I like them for different reasons

Choice of Rebels: I LOVE this game. Is extremely stat heavy and the first game has a very heavy administrative game vibe during the beginning. But the world is incredibly immersive, the characters are amazing and the conflicts is superb. I think my favorite character is Brenden. They are such a interesting character, and the plot about them is genuinely so intriguing.

Infinity Series (but specifically Lords of Infinity): Again, stats heavy but a worldbuilding i cant help but adore. I dont even have a favorite character, I guess. I love Cunaris, I love Katherine, Caius is a bastard but I love his character. But if i had to chose it would be Katherine. This game is very much a military fantasy, that really speaks to me because I like that.

The Infinity Series is gender locked. And Choice of Rebels you play as a AFAB or AMAB in the first game, with a plot about experiencing their own gender dynamics in the second.

Can't Save Your Love From Dying is another i really like. I dont usually like toxic romances in novels or movies because it annoys me. But Roxy is genuinely the reason I have a crush on Odessa A'Zion. And I am super excited to see where Maya will take those characters, because the other ROs also seem interesting, like ???? for example.

O, Your Heavenly Star is the one at it earliest development, but i already really liked it. Jude is a amazing writer, but the way OYHS watched me is straight up supernatural. The ROs BAREKY appeared in this game and i couldn't give a shit because the plot is so good. My favorite character is Mallory, I love her relationship with Sky, Franky, I love how she acts like a child because she IS (She begins a story at 12, time skip and she is barely 18) and i just love love love her.

Infamous i guess is another? Is certainly the most popular i think. I love that characters and dynamics. I genuinely don't know who i prefer between Seven andG

But I also love Press Play! Zima is my favorite character so far.

Particularly for interactive fiction i like either mess up shit or over worldbuilded fantasy. Is definitely a problem for me. But sometimes i love more slice of live simplicity like Costa Sul or C.C games

While waiting on what to do with my own game. I have replayed @pressplay-if and made a new character, Theo, it/it's.

Ofc I couldn't hold back on drawing it. Liza has already seen most of these, besides the very first one, that I just finished. It's a 6 page magazine or zine essentially. (I forgot to give Theo it's arm hair in that, forgive me.) The best hits section are real songs btw, which heavily inspired Theo as a character and the sort of music it creates in the press play universe.

Go check out press play, it is keeping me alive during winter depression. And leave some love for it too, the author is a great person and she deserves all the love in the world.
