The movie IF would have been so much better if it had more depth. Give me a girl with hospital trauma. Her dad has something, (it was never said what?) they could've just given him appendicitis or something. That shit is still scary to a girl who's mom died in the hospital. Give me more backstory on Cal!!! I wanted to know his clowning. I want him to be more desperate for her to remember him!! I want Calvin sweating and clawing the wallpaper and opening up to Blue!!! BLUE OF ALL IFS. Calvin should've had a moment where he expressed fear to Blue or to Blossom about Bea growing up. I really wanted more backstory on Calvin and his disappearance from Bea's life as an IF. I want him not just disappointed that Bea can't remember him. Not a single one of us recognized that she had any connection to this random ass man, (sorry Ryan Reynolds and John Krasinksi but it was a but weird?) i think she should've seen him as a clown or something!!!! And had a moment where she remembers?? Like the whole concept was awesome and the music is amazing but it really felt written by an adult who does not understand kids.

To those who can't read between the lines - I'm not shitting on the movie I just came out of it with a bazillion ideas that I felt could've expanded the already prevalent storyline. Got my creative juices flowing
