Tbh this chapter is a bit "out there" but it came from somewhere deep inside of me and I really like it. I dont consider myself as having synesthesia, but after writing that? I wonder. It just....it felt super authentic as I was imagining and crafting it. Anyhow. Happy Sunday.

Aaaand we back to researching blunt force trauma injuries. It’s been a while since I’ve beaten up one of my characters -- I think it was Stitches ? -- so I kinda forgot the correct terms.
I didn’t mean to hurt Spencer this badly, I swear. But my unsub got a little more violent and passionate than I intended, and the hospital scenes warranted a bit more than some bruises and bloodies knuckles.
