What tropes would you use to describe the different ROs routes?

Ohh that is a very good question! I had to think about this one because some of the RO routes have very intense spoilers so I'm going to try answer it as carefully as possible but hopefully still give you a good idea about what their route will be like.

Will - Revenge and lovers in denial

Nico - Rivals to lovers

Theo - Childhood friends to lovers (if you choose the Outlander background) or friends to lovers if you don't.

Astrid - Romeo and Juliet and fake dating

Mina - Doomed lovers

Arabella - Redemption and scars from the past

Thank you for 100 followers! I did not think I would reach this number so quickly but I couldn’t be more grateful for it. As promised, I will be working on character profiles to release so you can all see more about the characters you will be able to romance, befriend or annoy.

Who is most touchy from all ROs, and who least? is anyone touch averse? is MC locked as okay with touch?

Will is the most touchy out of all the ROs. He is a very affectionate person in general and he likes to show that through touch. He is always quick to offer a hug, a pat on the head or back and he likes to lean on people. He does it without really thinking about it so if MC is uncomfortable he will apologise and ask permission before touching them.

Astrid is very touch averse. I won't go into too much detail of why because that would be a spoiler but she does not like people in her personal space or people who touch her without permission. If someone gets too close she will flinch away. You would need to gain her trust and look and hear for when she is okay with you touching her.

I have been planning to give some options for the player to say whether they wanted a hug or kiss from the RO when they go down a specific route, whether it was a romance or friendship path. I will definitely look at adding more options for the player to refuse touch as I was already planning for permission to be sought in most cases.

Could we play a drafted MC that absolutely hated being in the Soulforge order and try’s everything to leave

You definitely can! All three backgrounds offer the chance for your character to hate being drafted into the Soulforge Order. You can play as someone who is just trying to fulfil their compulsory military service or you could actively fight against the system and try to bring it down.

Either way, you can express your dissatisfaction with the order and how things are run. You may even be able to sway people to your line of thinking and take them with you.

Ooh if I may ask, what weapon could we use???

The current list of anima weapons that players can choose from are:

A longbow

Dual Pistols

A Scythe

Chakrams

A Warhammer

Hand axes

I wanted to have a good variety of weapons that would reflect the combat style of a player. There are ranged, mid-range and melee range weapons and that will affect how the player approaches battle. It will also impact how missions can play out and how you make use of your unit members.

For example, if you need to attack something in the distance but you have a melee weapon, you can call on one of your unit members to help you. Or you could ignore it and focus on what is in front of you, judging it as not important or worth the distraction.

The weapons may change down the line if feedback calls for it.

Hey I wanted to know what will be more important in your game, the plot or the characters? 😊

This was a tough one to answer. While my game is character driven, the plot is still important. When I write I try to have my plot influence my characters and for my characters to drive the plot. They are both tied together and hugely impact one another.

My goal is to shape the storyline around the decisions the player makes and get them invested in it. A big part of the storyline are the characters they meet and grow attached to. So basically, both are equally important to the game.
