hiii i'm back. uhh... this is a bit darker than what i normally draw. basically... y'all remember the Prince from The Adventure of Link, right? well, this drawing/sketch takes place(?) right after he puts Zelda to sleep from the spell he cast on her, and he's seriously regretting it. also, he's just a little kid when he casts the spell. i forgot how old him and Zelda are supposed to be when all those things happen, so... this might be an AU. an AU where they're both really little. look, i was feeling moody and i wanted to draw something darker. that's all this is. alt. version: (content warning: mild blood. it's faint but it's there)
merry christmas, you guys. happy holidays. i know this isn't festive in any way, buuuuut... ... i really don't care right now
(same person who just sent an ask about snapdonnie plant boy)
I would love to have him as a poster or an art print in my room. I mean that as a compliment and I really hope it comes off as such. I am just an absolute sucker for body horror, ESPECIALLY plant related!!! That's so cool!!!
I hope you have a good day!!
Why hello again!!
fhdsghshsg, sure, you can totally print out SnapDonnie as a poster! I would be honered!
And yeah, Im secretly a massive fan of body horror (yeah secretly, they say, as if most of their aus dont involve Body horror/modification in some way) so i totally get it!
someone remind me to take pics please <33
If you want, we can talk some more.. I'll be glad..
Yes. Please stay.. Please keep talking... You're nice. I like nice.
I pray everyday that my irls never find this blog
Hi Sophie! Ballet anon here. Thank you x 1000 for your reply. Tbh i was half expecting a dismissive response (that's usually the kind i get from other ballet dancers in this fandom tbh), just like a 'oh yeah it's good exercise have fun but its probs gonna be really hard cuz you're old' type of a thing but you managed to warn me + encourage me in the most gentle way! Thank you! Also, your daughter's so stinkin cute. She's lucky to have a mom like you <3
Hello again, anon! I’m glad my response helped you out. I’m sorry that you got dismissive responses from other people. While I understand what those dancers were trying to say, I also understand that it might have been hurtful to you, especially since being enrolled in an after-school activity you love from a young age is pure luck. Starting when you’re younger has its perks, the greatest being that you get to spend your childhood doing what you love, but you know what? There are a ton of children that aren’t flexible, and there are a ton of adults that, with gentle guidance and daily practice, can do the oversplits. I am not kidding when I say that there are some women that I personally know that started ballet in their thirties (after having multiple children, might I add) that are now more flexible than people who have been doing ballet their whole lives. The most important thing is that you have fun and stay safe! Please do let me know if you do end up enrolling in ballet or gymnastics! I’d love to hear from you again. 😘
And thank you so much for your kind words. They mean a lot to me, truly. ❤❤❤ Also, I was talking to an adult ballet student about the message I received from you, and she would like to let you know that she’s so proud of you for deciding to try something you’ve been wanting to do your whole life! She’s a dentist by day and dancer by night, and she says she wishes she’d had had the guts to start ballet while she was in college. I also convinced her to let me post a short video of her dancing. I’ll take it down in a few hours, but I just wanted to show you that adults can dance just as well as someone who started when they were younger…
